Daily Bible Reading
In order for our relationship with God to grow, we talk to Him and listen to Him repeatedly. That is why we read the Bible and pray daily. To help us in our listening, we read a chapter of the Bible every day. The verses that we are focusing on this week appear below. If you click on the verse, a window will open to the whole chapter. Join our community in listening to God today!

| Sunday 08/29 | 1 Peter 2:12 Always let others see you behaving properly, even though they may still accuse you of doing wrong. Then on the Day of Judgment, they will honor God by telling the good things they saw you do. (CEV) | Sometimes people believe and see the worst in you no matter what you do. Don’t get discouraged and give up. In the end the truth will be revealed. When were you accused of something you didn’t do? |
| Monday 08/30 | Numbers 15:1-3a The LORD said to Moses, "Speak to the Israelites and say to them: 'After you enter the land I am giving you as a home and you present to the LORD offerings made by fire, from the herd or the flock, as an aroma pleasing to the LORD'" | Read Numbers 15 and share your thoughts on Pathway University forum. |
| Tuesday 08/31 | Numbers 16:31-33 As soon as he finished saying all this, the ground under them split apart and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed them, with their households and all Korah's men and all their possessions. | Wednesday 09/01 | Deuteronomy 11:19 Teach them to your children. Talk about them when you are at home. Talk about them when you walk along the road. Speak about them when you go to bed. And speak about them when you get up. | Talk about the verses you read every day with your family. Create a habit of going for a walk with your parents. Pray with them; pray for them. Bless them at the breakfast table. Does this describe your family? |
| Thursday 09/02 | John 8:7 When they kept on questioning him, he straightened up and said to them, "If any one of you is without sin, let him be the first to throw a stone at her." | It is so easy to see the sin in others. Look at yourself before you condemn someone else. “If you live in a glass house, don’t throw stones.” Who have you condemned lately? |
| today > > Friday 09/03 | Psalm 32:3 When I kept silent, my bones wasted away through my groaning all day long. | You’ve done something you shouldn’t have. You said harsh words that hurt someone. You’ve let a friend down. You should make it right. But instead you have been silent. What do you need to confess today, and to whom? |
| Saturday 09/04 | Numbers 16:46-48 Then Moses said to Aaron, "Take your censer and put incense in it, along with fire from the altar, and hurry to the assembly to make atonement for them. Wrath has come out from the LORD; the plague has started." So Aaron did as Moses said, and ran into the midst of the assembly. The plague had already started among the people, but Aaron offered the incense and made atonement for them. He stood between the living and the dead, and the plague stopped. | Read Numbers 16 and share your thoughts on Pathway University forum. |
